The fact that Emma and I had planned to buy a timeshare unit this summer while on our holiday trip in the sun-kissed sands of Puerto Vallarta, was not because of the economic downturn, but because we were tired of looking up for an ideal residential place every time we holiday together. One of our friends, who had been harrowed by the trouble of booking vacation resorts every time too, suggested an idea to us. The online timeshare portal, www.tralasvegas.com, was a place that one could look up a timeshare residential unit, in any place in the world.

Vacation

Even though we had never tried buying a unit at the timeshare resort, we decided that the experiment was worth a shot. And we landed up at the Mayan Palace Puerto Vallarta, after buying a spacious, villa-kind timeshare unit from an owner we found on the TRA Las Vegas website. And to tell you the truth, we were not one bit disappointed. Emma, of all people, who was sarcastic and itchy about every single thing about the place to stay on a vacation trip, was quite cool about the timeshare unit. In fact, she lauded me (surprisingly) for booking the place through the site TRA Las Vegas. The in-house area, the pools, the view, the cuisine, the service, all of it had us mesmerized for one whole fortnight of our stay at the place.

And what came as an even more pleasant surprise was the fact that we could exchange the timeshare points to spend our next vacation (which Mrs. Emma Welkins “who-plans-everything-a-year-beforehand” had already planned to be in Las Vegas) in the timeshare resort in the destination area. TRA Las Vegas was an awesome site, not only because it had almost all the timeshare resort units available for sale, but also because it has helped us enjoy one of the most thoroughly fantastic trips of our lives!
