It is no longer uncommon to find couples who intend to marry to find more exotic locations than in the past. This trend is also affecting larger numbers of Americans who now get married outside of their country. Caribbean beach weddings are becoming a more popular venue for them as opposed to somewhere within their own borders. Of course the probable reason for this is the excellent quality of beaches found in the Caribbean islands - something that appears to be the main attraction for tourists.
Owing to their location, weddings can take place at almost any time of the year which takes the pressure off the couple trying to have it in the right season at home. In addition to this, many Islands have begun to recognize the appeal that couples are finding when taking their wedding vows surrounded by those that love them on a beautiful white sandy beach with a bright blue sky above. Today there are several resorts offering all-inclusive offers where one could have a free Caribbean beach wedding, if as a couple, you decide to book your honeymoon in the particular resort. This of course makes it easy to enjoy the honeymoon immediately after the wedding without having to leave the venue, thereby enjoying it for longer.
Couples would usually be provided with a private and secluded location within the resort premises, away from the madding crowd and everyone else who have been the wedding guests. Of course not to spoil the scenario but if you intend to have a Caribbean beach wedding you will have to ensure you are conversant with local laws relating to a wedding of non-residents. It is important to remember that each of the Caribbean Islands have their own set of legal requirements which need to be met by the couple before any wedding can be organized there.
It is not uncommon for couple to have to be on the island for a set period before the wedding can take place and then of course there is the little matter of a local wedding license also. Quite often there is a large difference in the cost of these wedding licenses which can range anywhere from fifty to three hundred dollars. It may seem like an obvious point but it is easy to overlook: make sure you have valid passports because you wouldn’t want something like this ruining your ideal Caribbean beach wedding would you? If your passport is out of date or there is another problem with it you could easily be turned away at the airport.
